Das Künstlerkollektiv möchte durch Worte und Musik intervenieren und durch Formen und Aktionen des lateinamerikanischen Widerstands gegen Rassismus sichtbar machen. Rassismus und koloniale Kontinuitäten betreffen zahlreiche Menschen aus indigenen Gemeinschaften, Afro-Descendants, Bauern, Mestizajes und generell die Bevölkerung der lateinamerikanischen Länder. Sie sind ständigem Missbrauch, Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung innerhalb und außerhalb der Region ausgesetzt. Durch die Prozesse der kulturellen Kolonisierung wurden priviligierte Ästhetiken und dominantes Wissen aufgezwungen und andere Weltanschauungen und Lebensformen ausgeschlossen. Racism and colonial continuancies affect numerous people from Indigenous communities, Afrodescendants, peasants, Mestizajes and in general the population of Latin American countries, subjecting them to constant abuse, discrimination, and exclusion. Through words, Andean music and Latin American artistic manifestations, we want to make the different political, academic, social, artistic, educational and cultural processes that are being carried out in our regions visible, with the purpose to transform the conditions of inequality, discrimination, and the extinction of the cultural diversities of our continent. Let’s reflect about other possible worlds, social mobilizations, grassroot community organizations, participatory research processes, popular education and appropriation of territories !
